Hi, My name is Gav and I am a fully insured dry extraction carpet cleaner based in Farnham, surrey.
Dry extaction means that only a minimal amount of water is used to clean the carpet, this is frequently welcomed as wet extraction can leave a carpet wet up to 48 hours after the initial clean! My way is quicker and will leave the carpet dry within two hours and with only a pleasant fresh fragrance, not the "wet dog" smell often left from wet extraction. The above photos show a before and after clean I once performed. This was a particularly bad carpet which had not been cleaned for a few years, it was just dirty rather than a particular staining, with the dry extraction process the carpet became clean fairly easily. In the after photo the carpet is in fact still a little wet so it is darker still from that, after 2 hours the carpet would have lightened up even more.
